How does a guardianship work?
As a responsible and caring breeder we work hard to provide safe and loving homes for all of our puppies and also strive to give our breeding dogs a great life too.
In order to do that, we allow some of our breeding female dogs to leave us and join another family's life and return to us to be bred. They will return again when it's time to give birth to the puppies and remain with us until the puppies are weaned at 8 weeks of age.
There will be a written contract and full understanding of the puppy being held back from sale to be used in our breeding program.
To become a guardian you must also live in Alberta and within a reasonable drive from Edmonton.
Is there a cost involved?
Yes there is a cost involved. We do not give our puppies away for free. The guardian family has the opportunity to have a "breeding quality" dog at a discounted rate in exchange for working with us for a limited number of litters.
The guardian family is responsible for all regular pet costs such as food, vaccines, regular checkups, pet insurance etc. They are to be loved and cared for as a member of the family
The price for a guardian puppy is listed below
$2000 with the guardian receiving 5% of the profits
$3500 with the guardian receiving 10% of the profits
It's a total win-win for everyone. The mama dog, the guardian family, and Cherish A Bulls
